Design Office Manager Jersey

With offices in Jersey and Guernsey, this timber Frame/SIPs manufacturer have been experiencing considerable growth and for this reason they are wishing to recruit a Design Manager to join their team.

This company pride themselves on providing high quality, high value solutions for both the self-build and commercial markets. The right candidate will have either the experience, or potential to take on a management role and aid the growth of the business. Currently they are a small team, who are involved in the design of the complete Timber Frame package (Walls Floors and Roofs)

As the Design Manager, it will be your responsibility to manage the whole design process, liaise with clients and often be the face of the company. From the start you will be part of the management team that are focused on providing an excellent service and product for all their clients.

Supervise and produce detailed construction information suitable for site teams to deliver built product without compromise to programme, quality, health & safety and cost.

Provide suitable support to site teams to ensure compliance with statutory requirements (planning, building control, NHBC etc) and to identify improvements in construction detailing and techniques.

For this position you must have Experience within Timber Frame and or SIPS, Ideally have experience of Truss and Joist design, have good leadership skills and either the experience, or potential to manage a team of designers.
